The Capital Yacht Club, located in the heart of the nation's capital, is a private club that offers a comfortable and friendly atmosphere to members and guests from around the world. Capital Yacht Club offers members and guest boaters waterside and landside amenities.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse is an inviting and elegant place to escape everyday stress and relax over a cocktail or cup of coffee. The clubhouse has a full-service bar, clubroom, formal library, shower facilities, laundry room and patio area. The clubhouse offers free wireless internet access.

The full-service bar is open nightly. The bar is the club’s center for socializing and reminiscing about the day's activities. The lounge features mahogany wood and has a décor package featuring yacht club burgees from around the world.

The clubroom offers an area to relax, watch TV or bring your laptop and surf the web.

The Library offers an area for meetings, use of the club computer, reference books for use on-site, and games.

The laundry room has 4 coin operated washer and 6 coin operated dryers, ironing board, handicap accessible restroom and shower and a ‘sharing’ library.

The shower facilities provide high-end shower heads with private changing areas.

The patio is a terrific place to enjoy the sunset.

Marina

The marina consists of both floating and fixed docks and can accommodate vessels from weekend cruisers to yachts up to 220 feet. Slips are available to members and visiting guests. Reservations are required for guest yachts (please see our ‘reservations’ tab). Electrical power includes 30 and 50 amp service for all slips and three phase 100 amp on the T-heads. Cable television is provided complimentary. Wireless internet is available for purchase at the docks and can be arranged by connecting to www.portnetworks.net Pump outs can be arranged for a small service fee. The Capital Yacht Club is a certified DC Clean Marina and is a no discharge area. www.cleanmarinadc.org

Anchorage

Visiting yachtsmen choosing to anchor may arrange for use of our transiting dock and club facilities for a small fee by contacting the Dockmaster hailed on VHF channel 16 between 9am and 5pm daily.
